Tee time rules for Wrotham Heath Golf Club

Tee times for next week

I hope that you have all managed to book a tee time for next week that fits in with when you want to play. As you know you will have the opportunity to book a second tee time for next week from 2pm tomorrow.

I am pleased to advise you that I am now able to allow all members the opportunity to book a 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th or 7th tee time for any day next week from 7pm on Sunday (24th May). This means that you are no longer being restricted to only being able to book for the following day at 7pm each night.

Unfortunately, as a result of a small minority of our membership not following the rules that were clearly communicated last week, I have spent a considerable amount of time every day this week communicating with members that have broken the rules and removing their bookings in order to ensure that all members get a fair opportunity to play golf. Please respect your fellow members and follow the rules.

Summary of rules

You can only be part of one tee booking that was made prior to tomorrow at 2pm, regardless of whether your name was added to that booking at the time of booking or at a later date.

You can be part of one additional tee booking that was made after 2pm tomorrow and before Sunday 24th May at 7pm, regardless of whether your name was added to that booking at the time of booking or at a later date.

You may make additional bookings after 7pm Sunday for as many games as you wish for the following week.

The above rules are in place in order to ensure that all members get the chance to play at least two games next week, please follow the above rules. Any member not adhering to the rules will have tee times removed and will have restrictions imposed on when they are allowed to book any additional tee times. Please do not try and ‘jump the gun’ and make additional bookings shortly before the allowed booking times of 2pm tomorrow and 7pm Sunday, IG records the times of bookings, any early bookings will be removed.

Finally, I am sure that you will agree with me that our golf course is playing exceptionally well and as ever is the envy of many courses in Kent. We are very lucky to have such a great team of Greenkeepers.

Enjoy your golf
