This is for the Guest to club to read and agree to. 

WHGC members must not complete the form on behalf of the Guest.

 


 

Terms and Conditions of Play

 

  • In light of the current Covid-19 pandemic, you must agree to the following code of conduct prior to completing your online tee booking.

 

  • You will be asked to sign up to this protocol prior to being able to play at the club as a members guest.

 

  • At all times, social distancing measures MUST be observed, and a tee time zone must be pre-booked prior to using the course.

 

 

Booking and arrival

 

    • Booking a tee time zone at least 48 hours in advance via the website is compulsory and all players in that booking must be named

 

    • Golfers should travel to the club alone, or with a member of the same household

 

    • Arrive at the course no more than 15 minutes prior to the time you intend to tee off (stay in your car if you arrive at the club early)

 

    • Observe social distancing always and resist the temptation to mingle

 

    • The Clubhouse, including the locker rooms are closed

 

    • Arrive in golf attire and change footwear at the car

 

    • Report straight to the Pro Shop upon arrival to check-in

 

    • Wear a face covering in the Pro Shop

 

 

Check-in and Pro Shop protocol

 

    • It is mandatory for all golfers to check in at the Pro Shop to ensure traceability if required in the future

 

    • Guests should present to the Pro Shop a copy of the e-mail received, confirming payment. They will then be given a bag tag

 

    • Please observe the two-metre queue markers for the Pro Shop

 

    • Only one person at a time permitted inside the Pro-Shop

 

    • Golfing items and refreshments will be available to purchase, gathered by staff on request

 

    • Card payment only, no cash accepted at the till

 

    • Warm up nets are available but you MUST use your own golf balls and not leave any golf balls in the nets

 

    • The main practice ground is closed and MUST not be used

 

    • Hand sanitisers are located near to the 1st tee and 18th green

 

    • No equipment, including trollies are available for hire

 

 

The first tee and on the Course

 

    • The practice putting green is open, limited to six players. Players practicing MUST observe social distancing

 

    • Players should take a mobile phone with them onto the course in case of emergency. This should be kept on silent

 

    • Arrive at the 1st tee no more than 5 minutes prior to starting your round

 

    • Joining and playing with other groups on the course is strictly prohibited

 

    • Social distancing should be observed throughout, particularly on tees and greens

 

    • Bunker rakes have been removed. Please take a preferred lie without penalty within a scorecard width, no closer to the hole. Carefully smooth the sand with your feet or a club after playing from a bunker

 

    • Flagsticks to remain in the hole and must not be touched

 

    • Ball washers are out of use and have been covered up

 

    • Hole cups have been adapted to allow easy retrieval of ball without touching the flagstick

 

    • Equipment, food, and drink must not be exchanged between players. Take your rubbish home with you or use the rubbish bins provided

 

    • Do not exchange scorecards. One player in each group should mark the card for all players

 

    • Players must not pick up another player's equipment or golf ball or lost golf balls

 

    • Players must refrain from physical contact at all times

 

    • The ladies toilet near the 11th green will not be in use

 

 

 After golf and getting home safely

 

    • Players may stay at the club for a social drink and/or food after playing golf. However, they must leave the golf club 60 minutes after they finish their round of golf. The 60 minute time limit INCLUDES the time it takes a player to put their golf clubs/trolley in their car

 

    • Furniture MUST NOT BE MOVED from where it is sited

 

    • Hands may be washed and sanitised in the portable toilets

 

    • Players must call or email the golf club with any post-round health issues or COVID-19 related queries, at the earliest possible opportunity

 

 

These guidelines are issued for your continued safety whilst we are in the grips of the Covid-19 Pandemic and are essential to enable WHGC to allow Members to bring guests to the Club
